Soapbox: If At could vote by Ida Stein & Jessica Tamar Deutsch

Ida Stein: is a currnetly completing her thesis for a BFA in painting at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Ida's diverse approach is reflected in the work of Pratt’s award-winning professors, all of who are active in the New York art world.

Jessica Tamar Deutsch: is a New York based artist. Her work explores the intersection of ancient tradition and contemporary culture. She earned a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. Currently Deutsch is completing her first book (an illustrated Pirkei Avot, to be in print fall 2016).

In a world of abounding choices, we offer a captivating array of opportunities which engage students in all things Jewish-- fun and thoughtful-- opening the door to life changing experiences. All students are welcome, regardless of affiliation and level of observance. Students take leadership roles in their campus communities, helping create the next generation of empowered Jewish leadership.

Simcha Weinstein is an internationally known speaker and the best-selling author of Up, Up, and Oy Vey: How Jewish History, Culture, and Values Shaped the Comic Book Superhero and Shtick Shift: Jewish Humor in the 21st Century.

He has appeared on CNN and NPR and has been profiled in leading publications, including the New York Times, Miami Herald, and London Guardian.

A syndicated columnist, he writes for the Jerusalem Post, JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency), the Royal Shakespeare Company, Condé Nast, and many other agencies.

He chairs the Religious Affairs Committee at Pratt Institute, the renowned New York art school and was recently voted “New York’s Hippest Rabbi” by PBS affiliate Channel 13.

Rabbi Simcha travels the globe lecturing, and is famous for his engaging speaking style.
